description Objective: To offer a methodological proposal for the critical analysis of historical discourse (CDAH) from an interdisciplinary perspective. Originality/contributions:  The integration in the analytical-interpretative horizon of theoretical and methodological principles of critical discourse analysis with decolonial studies and Bakhtin's hermeneutics around the conception and representation of socio-cultural actors in historical discourse. Method: Based on the socio-cognitive, semiotic and historical approaches of critical discourse studies, the analysis is carried out in three phases: nominalization, predication and argumentative schemes that justify the conception and representation of sociocultural actors. Data collection strategies:  ten chronicles on the “Discovery” and “Conquest” of the New World” were taken; and for the examination of textual data the tools Nvivo, T-LAB 7.5 were used. Conclusions: the integration of critical discourse studies (CDS) with decolonial studies (DE) and Bakhtin's hermeneutics (HB) enables a critical understanding that overcomes the predominant Eurocentric conceptions of the historical discourse on the facts related to the “discovery” and the “Conquest” of the New World.

Originalidad: La integración en el horizonte analítico-interpretativo de principios teóricos y metodológicos del análisis crítico del discurso con los estudios decoloniales y la hermenéutica de Bajtín entorno a la concepción y representación de los actores socioculturales en el discurso histórico. Método: Con base en los enfoques sociocognitivo, semiótico e histórico de los estudios críticos del discurso se realiza el análisis en tres fases: la nominalización, predicación y esquemas argumentativos que justifican la concepción y la representación de los actores socioculturales. Estrategias de recolección de la información: Se tomaron diez crónicas sobre el “Descubrimiento” y la “Conquista” del Nuevo Mundo”; y para el examen de los datos textuales se usaron las herramientas Nvivo, T-LAB 7.5. Conclusiones: la integración de los estudios críticos del discurso (ECD) con los estudios decoloniales (ED) y la hermenéutica de Bajtín (HB) posibilitan una comprensión critica que supera las concepciones eurocéntricas predominantes del discurso histórico sobre los hechos relacionados con el “descubrimiento” y la “Conquista” del Nuevo Mundo.Objetivo: Oferecer uma proposta metodológica para a análise crítica do discurso histórico (CDAH) a partir de uma perspectiva interdisciplinar. Originalidade: A integração no horizonte analítico-interpretativo dos princípios teóricos e metodológicos da análise crítica do discurso com os estudos decoloniais e a hermenêutica de Bakhtin em torno da concepção e representação dos atores socioculturais no discurso histórico. Método: Com base nas abordagens sociocognitiva, semiótica e histórica dos estudos críticos do discurso, a análise é realizada em três fases: nominalização, predicação e esquemas argumentativos que justificam a concepção e a representação dos atores socioculturais. Método e estratégias/ coleta de datos: A foram utilizadas dez crônicas sobre a “Descoberta” e a “Conquista” do Novo Mundo; e para o exame dos dados textuais foram usadas as ferramentas Nvivo, T-LAB 7.5.
