For this reason, research has focused on CO2 capture processes with the use of different techniques such as the plasma system in dielectric barrier discharge configuration and the integration of calcium cycle technologies, among others. Due to this, the objective of this document is to review the abnormal glow discharge method and give an overview of CO2 capture methods and technologies.En los últimos años se han presentado grandes cambios en el medioambiente. Las grandes industrias generan polución en forma de dióxido de carbono ―CO2―. Por esta razón, las investigaciones se han centrado en procesos de captura del CO2 con el uso de diferentes técnicas como el sistema de plasma en configuración de descarga de barrera de dieléctrico y la integración de las tecnologías del ciclo del calcio, entre otras. Debido a esto, el objetivo del presente documento es la revisión del método de descarga luminiscente anormal y dar una visión de los métodos y tecnologías de la captura de CO2.Nos últimos anos, houve grandes mudanças no ambiente. Grandes indústrias geram poluição sob a forma de dióxido de carbono -CO2-. Por esta razão, a pesquisa se concentrou nos processos de captura de CO2 com o uso de diferentes técnicas, como o sistema de plasma na configuração de descarga da barreira dielétrica e a integração de tecnologias do ciclo do cálcio, entre outras.
