It deals with some points regarding the Krugman’s Core- Periphery Model, too. Later, as it is allowed by the data, the article partially applies a methodology using the Census information on the mobility of Commuters for labour circumstances in Boyacá, in order to identify somemunicipalities that attract workers from neighbourhood.El artículo discute someramente las pautas que han desarrollado algunos autores en torno al fenómeno de la localización productiva. La discusión incluye una presentación de los conceptos expuestos originalmente por Marshall, que fueron retomados tanto en los trabajos de Krugman sobre geografía económica como en las ideas de los Sistemas Locales de  Trabajo de los teóricos del distrito industrial.De Krugman también se presentan algunos aspectos de su modelo de centro periferia.
