This study shows an analysis and identification of the most common types of love in a relationship using the Love Attitude Scale (Hendrick & Hendrick). The scale identifies 6 types of love on the basis of Lee´s typology of love styles (1988). The study was conducted on the sample of 310 students (155 females and 155 males) from different degrees at Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia in Tunja. Eros, Ludus, Storge, Pragma, Mania and Agape were assessed through frequency analysis, comparative gender, variables of correlation and t-test. Most of the students are identified with Eros, Storge and Agape. Eros and Agape are important for women while for men are Eros and Storge. There is a significant correlation for the same styles. Students’ relationships are characterized by passion, commitment, friendship and emotional intimacy |

Students’ relationships are characterized by passion, commitment, friendship and emotional intimacyEl presente estudio muestra un análisis de identificación de las tipologías del amor más sobresalientes en las relaciones de pareja, a través de la Escala de Actitudes Amorosas (Hendrick y Hendrick), la cual explora los seis tipos de amor propuestos por Lee (1988). El estudio, se realizó con 310 estudiantes de diferentes carreras de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) sede Tunja, de los cuales 155 fueron mujeres y 155 hombres. Se evaluaron los estilos de Amor Eros, Ludus, Storge, Pragma, Manía y Ágape a través de análisis de frecuencias, comparativo entre géneros, correlación de variables, y la prueba de t de medias. Los estilos de amor con los que más se identifican los estudiantes de la UPTC, fueron, Eros, Storge y Ágape. En cuanto al género, las mujeres dieron mayor importancia al estilo de amor Eros y Ágape, mientras que los hombres a Eros y Storge. En conclusión se encontró correlación significativa para los mismos estilos. Las relaciones de pareja de los estudiantes universitarios se caracterizan por la pasión, el compromiso, la amistad y la intimidad emocional.Cet étude montre un analyse pour identifier les types d’amour plus remarquables dans les relations de couple, à travers de l’Échelle d´Attitudes Amoureuses (Hendrick et Hendrick), qui explore les six types d’amour proposés par Lee (1988). L’étude a été realisée avec 310 étudiants de différentes disciplines de l’Université Pédagogique et Technologique de Colombie siège de Tunja, dont 155 étaient des femmes et 155 d´hommes. Ont été evalués les styles dámour Eros, Ludus, Storge, Pragma, Mania et Agape grâce à l´analyse de fréquences, comparative entre genre, la corrélation des variables, et le test t des moyennes. Les styles d’amour avec lesquels la plupart des étudiants de la UPTC s´identifient ont été Eros, Storge et Agape. En ce qui concerne le genre, les femmes ont donné plus d’importance au style d’Eros et de l’amour Agape, tandis que les hommes à Eros et Storge. Ont été trouvés corrélation significative pour les mêmes styles. Les relations de couple des étudiants universitaires sont caractérisés par la passion, l’engagement, l’amitié et l’intimité émotionnelle.Este estudo apresenta uma análise de identificação das tipologias de amor mais notáveis nos relacionamentos, através da Escala de Atitudes Amorosas (Hendrick e Hendrick), que explora os seis tipos de amor propostos por Lee (1988). O estudo foi realizado com 310 alunos de diferentes programas da Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, sede Tunja, dos quais 155 eram mulheres e 155 homens. Avaliaram-se os estilos de amor Eros, Ludus, Storge, Pragma, Mania e Agape através de análise de frequência, comparativa entre sexos, correlação de variáveis e o teste t de médias. Os estilos de amor com que os alunos da UPTC mais se identificaram foram Eros, Storge e Agape. Quanto ao sexo, as mulheres deram mais importância ao estilo de amor Eros e Agape, enquanto os homens deram mais importância ao Eros e Storge. Descobriu-se correlação significativa para os mesmos estilos.
