Tras la lectura, se considera que la novela representa en sí misma la tematización de las principales preguntas que atañen a la teoría queer y sus elaboraciones de los conceptos de género y sexo; así como a la elaboración de la categoría de cuerpo y sus vasos comunicantes y exploraciones estéticas en la materialidad del texto.A partir da leitura crítica do romance Un mundo huérfano (2016) de Giuseppe Caputo (Barranquilla, 1982), o presente artigo tem como objetivo estudar a presença e o diálogo estabelecido nesse com a categoria de corpo, definido pela teoria queer como performance e teatralidade, na que já não são mais determinantes nem o gênero nem o sexo, e na que tem um papel importante nos interesses do autor: o oximoro e a fragmentação para fazer a reconstrução de dito corpo que também pode ser lido como texto.
