This exercise suggests a re-awakening of the melodic properties of the voice as a first step carried out by the translator before reaching the final form of the words. The structure of the following pages will be given by key aspects/terms as cultic function, pharmakon, the nature of the poet or the dialectics between two different models of language.El siguiente trabajo tiene por objeto acercarse a las “mudanzas” que Antonio Gamoneda realizó en 2016 a partir de una serie de cantos del rey-poeta Nezahualcóyotl. El objetivo es poner en relación su actividad traductora con un ejercicio de reanimación del verbo. El poeta, a modo de chamán, rescata del lenguaje su energía o, dicho de otro modo, lo dota de nueva vida como si de un organismo se tratase. Afín a este proceso queda la idea de un despertar las propiedades musicales de la voz, primer paso del traductor antes de fijar su forma definitiva.
