We have examined the minutes of Education Board of IECLB and the Evangelical Association of Education, some of the main studies and documents that record lectures sponsored by the Education Board, public manifestos and reports written by  IECLB Pastor, President of the IECLB. These interpretations allowed us to say that schools of evangelical Lutheran confession have experienced a crisis of identity, policy, direction and meaning in the 80s, bringing about an estrangement between schools and communities of maintenance, or in many cases, individual practices and centralization of power. A partir  de  los  conceptos de  ética y  ciudadanía, hemos  realizado una  lectura interpretativa de la crisis mencionada en los principales documentos normativos y que orientan la dirección de la Iglesia Evangélica de Confesión Luterana en Brasil (IECLB) y su  red de escuelas asociadas (Red Sinodal de Educación). Hemos examinado las actas de la Junta de Educación de la IECLB y la Asociación Evangélica de Educación,algunos de los principales estudios y documentos que  registran conferencias patrocinadas por la Junta de Educación, los manifiestos y los informes del Pastor Presidente de laIECLB al Consejo General de la  IECLB.
