During this historical review is an analysis of the emergence of the notion of childhood, its evolution, current status and future projections, from three basic considerations such as: The current preschool curriculum model, vision and expectations. This approach to childhood as an important stage in the formation of man, recognized the infant from many factors such as mindset, their families and training among others, which are assessed and analyzed to the fore the initial training as a means of generating the child's understanding of the environment where he lives and building tools to interact socially in all human sense.

This approach to childhood as an important stage in the formation of man, recognized the infant from many factors such as mindset, their families and training among others, which are assessed and analyzed to the fore the initial training as a means of generating the child's understanding of the environment where he lives and building tools to interact socially in all human sense. El presente artículo,  tiene como  tópico central  la génesis y consolidación de la   educación inicial o preescolar en Colombia, desde su procedencia en el modelo pedagógico de  la Francia del siglo XIX hasta  su   promulgación  como grado obligatorio con  la    Ley  115  de  1994  o  Ley  general  de  la educación  Colombiana.  Durante  este  recorrido histórico se hace un análisis del   surgimiento de la noción de infancia, su evolución, situación actual y proyecciones  hacia  el   futuro,   desde  tres consideraciones  básicas  como  son:  el  modelo curricular  del  preescolar  actual,  su  visión  y expectativas.  Este  acercamiento  a  la    infancia como  una etapa trascendental en  la formación del ser humano,  reconoce   al  infante desde muchos factores como la mentalidad, su entorno familiar y formativo  entre  otros,  que  son  valorados  y analizados para hacer  relucir  la  formación  inicial como  un  medio  que  genera  en  el  niño  la comprensión del entorno donde vive y el fomento de  herramientas  que  le  permitan  interactuar socialmente en  todo sentido humano.Palabras  clave:  Descubrimiento,  educación, infancia, preescolar, sentimiento.AbstractThis  ar ticle  deals  with  the  genesis  and consolidation  of  early  childhood  education  or preschool  in  Colombia,  from  its  source  in  the pedagogical  model  of  the  nineteenth-century France to its enactment as law degree mandatory or Act 115 of 1994 Colombian general education.
