Originality/contribution: Her biography is based on specialized bibliography, on local and national press, sources from the Cossettini Pedagogical Archive, and on her own work. This process has allowed us to get to know the character within her generation and make a comparison with the case of Córdoba. Method: the life history method allows to reconstruct, from the voice of its protagonists, the academic formation, the analysis of the intellectual production in the context and time of application of their ideas. We focus on her life and work, especially on the contributions she made. Strategies/information collection: Collection and documentary analysis. Conclusions: The experience of the sisters Olga and Leticia Cossettini, as school principal and teacher, respectively, in Rafaela and Rosario in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, has been an active, innovative and recreational school since its inception, with an indoors and outdoors participatory dynamic called Escuela Serena.

Originalidad/aporte: Su biografía ha sido elaborada con base en bibliografía especializada, prensa local y nacional, fuentes del Archivo Pedagógico Cossettini, y a su propia obra. Este proceso nos ha permitido conocer al personaje dentro de su generación y hacer alguna comparación con lo ocurrido en Córdoba. Método: la metodología basada en historias de vida permite, desde la voz de sus protagonistas, construir su formación, analizar su producción intelectual, contextualizándola en relación con su formación académica y el tiempo de aplicación de sus ideas. Hacemos hincapié en su vida y su obra, con énfasis en los aportes realizados. Estrategias/recolección de información: Recolección y análisis documental. Conclusiones: La experiencia de las hermanas Olga y Leticia Cossettini, como directora y maestra, respectivamente, en escuelas de Rafaela y Rosario de la provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina, ha sido desde sus inicios una escuela activa, innovadora y recreativa, con un trabajo participativo en intramuros y extramuros que denominaron Escuela Serena.Objetivo: Este artigo refere-se ao caminho seguido por uma professora argentina com uma longa carreira na província de Santa Fé: Olga Cossettini que, juntamente com a sua irmã Leticia, estava preocupada em transformar a educação primária do seu tempo. Originalidade/contribuição: A sua biografia foi elaborada com base em bibliografia especializada, imprensa local e nacional, fontes do Arquivo Pedagógico Cossettini, e o seu próprio trabalho. Este processo permitiu-nos conhecer a personagem dentro da sua geração e fazer algumas comparações com o que aconteceu em Córdoba. Método: a metodologia baseada em histórias de vida permite, a partir da voz dos seus protagonistas, construir a sua formação, analisar a sua produção intelectual, contextualizando-a em relação à sua formação académica e ao tempo de aplicação das suas ideias. Damos ênfase à sua vida e ao seu trabalho, com ênfase nas contribuições que fizeram. Estratégias/coleta de informações: Recolha e análise documental.
