description	This study aims to give an overview of major social struggles in Latin America developed in recent years, particularly in relation to land disputes, resulting in the emergence of two distinct historical and rural movements: the Movement of Landless Rural Workers - MST in Brazil and FARC - Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. It’s intended to establish to what extent these movements emerged within the context of excluded social groups, who sought in the field and through the peasant struggle, various forms of claims of rights in various social situations, resulting in diverse ways and different degrees of the use of force and violence in the countryside. Thus, we discuss to what extent the agrarian social conflict resulted in a reaction by the powers that, within a class reality, during the period of democratization of Latin American nations, from the perspective of constitutional regimes seated in a democratic state, an anomalous state police, rather than the exercise of fundamental rights such as freedom of assembly and association. Furthermore, a process of increasing criminalization of the MST in Brazil, as occurs in clashes between the government and the FARC in Colombia, contributed to a process of militarization of the repressive apparatus of the state, which doesn’t contribute to the maintenance of peace and the promotion of social inclusion in Latin America.

El objetivo del trabajo es establecer en qué medida estos movimientos surgieron en el contexto de los grupos sociales excluidos, que buscaban en el campo, a través de la lucha campesina, diversas formas de reivindicación de los derechos en diversas situaciones sociales, dando lugar a diferentes formas y diferentes grados de uso de la fuerza y la violencia en el campo. Por lo tanto, se discute hasta qué punto el conflicto social agrario dio lugar a una reacción de los poderes dentro de una realidad de clase durante un período de democratización de las naciones latinoamericanas, desde la perspectiva de los regímenes constitucionales, sentado en un Estado democrático, un policía del Estado anómalo, más que el ejercicio de los derechos fundamentales como la libertad de reunión y de asociación. Por otra parte, un proceso de creciente criminalización del MST en Brasil, como ocurre en los enfrentamientos entre el gobierno y las FARC en Colombia, contribuyendo a un proceso de militarización del aparato represivo del Estado, que no contribuye en nada al mantenimiento de la paz y la promover la inclusión social en América Latina. /Este estudo pretende traçar um panorama das principais lutas sociais desenvolvidas na América Latina nos últimos anos, em especial em relação aos conflitos agrários, resultando no surgimento de dois movimentos rurais históricos e distintos: o Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra - MST no Brasil e as FARC – Forças Armadas Revolucionárias da Colômbia. Pretende-se estabelecer até que ponto tais movimentos surgiram dentro do contexto de segmentos sociais excluídos, que buscaram no campo, por meio da luta campesina, diversas formas de reivindicação de direitos que, em realidades sociais diversas, resultaram em formas distintas e graus diferenciados de emprego da força e violência no campo. Assim, discute-se até que ponto os conflitos sociais agrários resultaram numa reação por parte dos poderes constituídos, dentro de uma realidade de classe, a ponto de se estatuir em pleno período de redemocratização das nações latino-americanas, na perspectiva de regimes constitucionais, assentados num Estado Democrático de Direito, um anômalo Estado Policial, em detrimento do exercício de direitos fundamentais, como a liberdade de reunião e associação.
