The conclusions will motivate interested people such as entrepreneurs,instructors or investigators, to formulate strategies to allow organizations to havepossession of relevant knowledge in order to build competitive advantages.El aprendizaje organizacional o la organización abierta al aprendizajees un tema ampliamente documentado del cual las organizacionesempiezan a tomar conciencia y a emprender acciones para su aplicación.Uno de los aspectos relevantes del aprendizaje organizacional, y del cualno se han obtenido desarrollos similares a la de la propuesta general, eslo relacionado con las barreras para el aprendizaje. Se busca plantear unareflexión a partir del marco teórico investigado sobre el tema de barreraspara el aprendizaje y correlacionarlo con los hallazgos de la investigaciónaplicada a dos organizaciones significativas del sector industrial y deservicios de la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia.
