La biblioteca estará ubicada las afueras de la ciudad de Barranquilla entre la carrera 46 y calle 51b específicamente a las alturas del corredor universitario, garantizando así un acceso total el proyecto. Esta biblioteca ha sido diseñada de manera que pueda brindar espacios de estudio, investigación y aprendizaje a todos los estudiantes de las comunidades cercanas a su ubicación y de la misma manera poder afrontar y solucionar problemáticas evidentes como: La falta de lugares de estudio, poca accesibilidad a recursos tecnológicos, carencia de material de estudio e investigación entre otros. La biblioteca cuenta con un área de 4.1 Hectáreas, de las cuales 1.7 Hectáreas son de superficie construida, esta consiste en un edificio principal el cual dispondrá de tres niveles con espacios diseñados para estudio y un sótano. Se cuenta con una zona de estudio individual y grupal, zona de computadores y equipos tecnológicos, área de presentaciones y un área para consumir alimentos. Además, estará conectada a la vía principal por una vía de pavimento flexible de unos 500 metros de longitud la cual contará con dos carriles de 3.6 metros de ancho cada uno y una ruta para bicicletas al costado de la vía. Finalmente, para la realización del proyecto se ha estimado un presupuesto de $ 26,649,032,099.31 millones de pesos colombianos. |
