The previous aspect is done inorder to be able to face the challenges that the new global economic surroundingsimpose and the increasing technological innovations that companies in the XXIcentury face.Este artículo se enfoca en la revisión de las principales técnicas queaborda la Inteligencia Artificial, con sus diferentes paradigmas, y sonrelevantes los sistemas expertos, las redes neuronales, los algoritmosgenéticos, la lógica borrosa y la teoría “Rough sets” con sus diferentesaplicaciones al campo de la gestión financiera empresarial. Se consideraque los directivos o ejecutivos de las compañías al efectuar la planificación,ejecución y control en la gestión financiera empresarial podrían apoyarseen las nuevas tecnologías o técnicas que ofrece la Inteligencia Artificialpara la toma de decisiones adecuadas y eficientes.
