Diseño de un sistema para el mejoramiento del desempeño acústico de un grupo de moto-generadores a gas natural, ubicados en una estación compresora

This project is entitled " DESIGN OF AN ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE FOR A GROUP OF GENERATORS IN A COMPRESSOR’S STATION OF NATURAL GAS ". Promigas is a Colombian company dedicated to the transportation and distribution of natural gas, for this purpose they require gas pipelines and compressor stations. The compressor tations are conformed by a set of equipment such as turbines, compressors, valves, networks and engine generators that produce high levels of noise. Nowadays, generators have been identified as a source of noise, however, despite the existence of commercial solutions for individuals equipments, the market does not include designs for a group of gen-set placed in the same room, such as happens at the Caracolí station. Also, thermal considerations are not usually taking into account when industries implement noise control solutions, for that reason this study pretends to include both components in an acoustical improvement.
