Un salón móvil es un recinto usualmente cerrado y remolcado o montado sobre un vehículo para permitir su traslado de forma sencilla. Estos cubículos son usados principalmente por empresas para transportar equipos que pueden operarse in situ, para fines comerciales, o también educativos. La Universidad del Norte, tal como lo expresa en su misión, está comprometida con la formación integral de las personas mediante su presencia en la comunidad, especialmente de la Región Caribe colombiana. Al igual que la Universidad del Norte, también existen organizaciones públicas y privadas que desean promover una formación particular en distintos lugares alejados con un acceso tecnológico. Se plantea entonces la necesidad de salones portátiles (remolcables) donde se puedan hacer capacitaciones o clases direccionadas a múltiples zonas rurales con planta física inadecuada para lograr un efectivo entrenamiento comunitario. Este proyecto se concentra en diseñar el abastecimiento energético a partir de paneles solares para este salón móvil que funciona como aula de clases, en lugares donde existe carencia de la posibilidad de dictar enseñanzas con buena calidad de servicio eléctrico, sistema de climatización, proyector, telecomunicaciones y equipo de cómputo básico. |
