An organization of New Social Movements as a significant contribution to the construction of “hegemonía popular desde abajo”, now that it promotes the protagonist role of the “poor” in the generation of power and the struggle against the dominant and unfair legality of the capitalist system.El presente trabajo es un análisis de las Teologías latinoamericanas de la Liberación a partir de los aportes de la experiencia brasilera, (entendidas éstas como reflexión crítica sobre la praxis histórica de los pueblos oprimidos de América Latina) como proceso de articulación teórica, política y sociocultural contrahegemónica ligado a una tradición de prácticas de resistencia ancestrales en América Latina, que exceden ampliamente los ámbitos restringidos de la eclesialidad institucional religiosa, y contribuyen a generar un doble proceso teórico-práctico: Por un lado, la consolidación teórica de un Pensamiento Crítico eminentemente latinoamericano a partir de la resignificacion de categorías culturales, religiosas y sociales que contribuye a configurar una nueva subjetividad latinoamericana, un “sujeto histórico” latinoamericano; por otro lado, la organización de Nuevos Movimientos Sociales, como aporte significativo a la construcción de una “hegemonía popular desde abajo”, en tanto promueve el protagonismo de los “pobres” en la generación de poder propio y la lucha contra la legalidad dominante e injusta del modelo de acumulación capitalista. /O presente trabalho é uma análise das Teologias latinoamericanas da Libertação, desde as contribuições da experiência brasileira (entendidas as mesmas como reflexão critica sobre a práxis histórica dos povos oprimidos da América Latina) como um processo de articulação teórica, política e sociocultural contrahegemônica ligado a uma tradição de praticas de resistência ancestrais na América Latina, que vão além dos âmbitos restringidos da eclesialidade religiosa, e colaboram na geração de um duplo processo teórico-prático: Primeiro, a consolidação teórica de um Pensamento Critico profundamente latinoamericano desde a ressignificação de categorias culturais, religiosas e sociais que contribui á configuração duma nova subjetividade latinoamericana, um “sujeito histórico” latinoamericano; em segundo lugar, a organização de Novos Movimentos Sociais, como aporte significativo na construção de uma “hegemonía popular desde abajo”, já que promove o protagonismo dos “pobres” na geração de poder próprio e na luta contra a legalidade dominante e injusta do modelo de acumulação capitalista.application/pdfspaUniversidad del NorteMemorias; No 17 (2012)Authorization for the reproduction, use, publishing, and divulgation of a literary, artistic or cientific piece.
