En el presente artículo se aborda la relación teórica entre los conceptos de patrimonio, desarrollo social, centro histórico, teoría de sistemas y cartografía cultural. Primero se relacionan los conceptos de patrimonio y desarrollo social. Posteriormente se relacionan los conceptos de centro histórico y patrimonio. Seguido se hace una revisión de los elementos más destacados de la teoría de sistemas y se relacionan con el concepto de centro histórico. Finalmente se revisa el concepto de cartografía cultural y su relación con el centro histórico. El objetivo es elaborar un primer intento de una línea argumentativa que conecte estos conceptos en el marco de entender por qué el centro histórico se convierte en un subsistema de la ciudad, capaz de representarla, en el sentido de su estudio y análisis sociológico amplio; y susceptible de generar procesos de desarrollo social, en un sentido práctico social.PALABRAS CLAVE: Patrimonio y desarrollo social, centro histórico y patrimonio, teoría de sistemas y centro histórico, cartografía cultural y centro histórico.ABSTRACT In this paper, it is tackled the theoretical relation between concepts of heritage, social development, historical centre, theory of systems, and cultural cartography. First, it is linked concepts of heritage and social development. Then, concepts of historical centre and heritage are linked. Subsequently, a checkup of the most prominent elements of theory of systems is made, and they are connected to concept of cultural cartography and its relation with historical centre. The objective is to make a first attempt of an arguing line that connects these concepts in the framework of understanding why the historical centre becomes a subsystem of city, able of represent it, in the sense of its study and wide sociological analysis; and susceptible to generate social development processes in a practical social sense.KEY WORDS: Heritage and social development, historical centre and heritage, theory of systems and historical centre, cultural cartography and historical centre. |
