The conclusion is that even if our Constitutional Court applies this principle based on the constitutionality block to the prevalence of the fundamental rights of the children, one of which is the right to sexual identity and gender, this does not include the option of the minor of not being classified either as a female or a male.Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar mediante un estudio de caso el principio de autonomía y su aplicación en la figura del consentimiento informado, en los tratamientos y/o intervenciones quirúrgicas de asignación de sexo y remodelación genital, cuando se trata de menores de edad.
