The population dynamics at the beginning of the 21st century have shown a reduction in the average number of people per family and an increase in the number of households that decide to adopt one or more pets as additional companions. According to the BrandStrat company, six out of ten Colombian households have at least one pet [1], with Bogotá, Medellín and Cali being at the top of the cities. Considering that pets, being domestic animals, do not have the ability to meet some of their own needs such as food without human help, it is important that owners can guarantee the nutritional care of the pet, offering adequate portions of food within hours. However, this task can be difficult when you have many occupations, work responsibilities or trips in which it is not possible to take the pet with you. In this project, therefore, an intelligent device is developed capable of dispensing canine food automatically following a diet previously agreed with the owner automatically or manually, designed mainly for homes where the person responsible for pet care must be absent. for long hours in the house and want to guarantee and monitor that the animal is fed properly.
