En el departamento del Magdalena, las condiciones no idóneas de la infraestructura para el transporte terrestre influyen negativamente en la productividad y competitividad. Específicamente, en el caso de los municipios de Chivolo y Pivijay, las vías que conectan estas zonas urbanas son de tipo terciarias, no pavimentadas en mal estado y representan altos tiempos de viaje. A lo anterior se le suma el hecho de que la zona de la vía presenta una alta susceptibilidad a inundaciones lo cual dificulta la conexión en temporadas invernales. Frente a esta problemática, la presente propuesta tiene como objetivo fortalecer la conectividad de la zona Chivolo-Pivijay, Magdalena articulándose de manera eficiente con la infraestructura vial existente respondiendo a problemáticas de una región agrícola en la cual el transporte de pasajeros y carga se ve afectado por las redes en mal estado. Así mismo, este proyecto responde a problemáticas de una región agrícola en la cual el transporte de pasajeros y carga se ve afectado por las redes en mal estado las cuales obligan a un muy alto tiempo de viaje en malas condiciones de servicio. Para esto, se plantea una propuesta de diseño de una vía secundaría con velocidad de diseño de 60 Km/h diseñada en bases las especificaciones técnicas de INVIAS. La propuesta de diseño abarca el planteamiento de alternativas, evaluación de impactos y riesgos, estudios de tránsito, diseño geométrico de trazado e intersecciones, diseño de pavimentos, drenaje y señalización, así como programación de obra y presupuesto. Finalmente, se obtiene el diseño de 80 Km de vía en terraplén y pavimento flexible con consideraciones económicas sociales ambientales. |

Specifically, in the case of the municipalities of Chivolo and Pivijay, the roads that connect these urban areas are tertiary roads that are not paved, in poor condition and represent high travel times. In addition to that, the area of the road is highly susceptible to flooding, which makes transport connectivity difficult in winter seasons. Considering this problem, this proposal aims to strengthen the transport connectivity among the Chivolo-Pivijay area, by articulating efficiently a new road design with the existing road infrastructure. Likewise, this project responds to the problems of an agricultural region in which the transport of passengers and freight is being affected by transport networks in poor condition, which represent a high travel time in poor level of service conditions. In order to do that, a road desing is proposed for a secondary road with a design speed of 60 km/h, designed on the basis of the INVIAS technical specifications. The design proposal includes the approach of alternatives, impact and risk assessment, traffic studies, geometric design of road and intersections, pavement design, drainage and sign post design, as well as programming and budget.
