Para ello analiza los procesos de construcción y mantenimiento del sistema de defensa de Cartagena, los trabajadores encargados de esas labores, las jerarquías sociales y ocupacionales entre estos, las dificultades que esto impuso al desarrollo de la vida de los gremios, y como para finales de la Colonia la exaltación de las virtudes del trabajo marchó paralelo con nuevas formas de leer la configuración social de la ciudad, llevando a que muchos artesanos fueran reconocidos como personas virtuosas.application/pdfspaUniversidad del NorteMemorias; No 19 (2013)Authorization for the reproduction, use, publishing, and divulgation of a literary, artistic or cientific piece.
