description Currently the regular use of air conditioners both in buildings and in vehicles is an efficient system that guarantees comfort and low cost. In the case of the Transmetro mass transit system, there are opportunities for improvement in terms of the operation of the air conditioning of the buses because the air flow is not optimal inside the cabin. Achieving thermal comfort inside the buses is possible if a redesign of air conditioning ducts like the one proposed in this project is implemented. This consists of making area reductions for the equal sea flow rate at the outlet of the air diffusers. To find the optimal system, three alternatives were proposed and specifically identified was the most convenient. Later some teams are selected, and some parts of these are redesigned taking into account all the factors involved. These factors are mainly related to the geometry of the ducts and the material to be used. Based on this, a design is obtained based on modular ducts that facilitate its maintenance and repair with low cost, all the standards and requirements required

Based on this, a design is obtained based on modular ducts that facilitate its maintenance and repair with low cost, all the standards and requirements requiredActualmente el uso regular de aires acondicionados tanto en edificaciones como en vehículos supone un eficiente sistema que garantice confort y bajo costo.
