Arguments provided allow viewing the job competitions as a need of development to improve the performance of the organization’s staff that needs to cope with the requirements of its environment to achieve goals successfully. Moreover business coaching, as an alternative to orient, guide and lead the staff potential to develop their capacities and skills to maximize their job performance.Este artículo presenta una descripción general actual, como resultado de una revisión bibliográfica,de las aportaciones y estudios realizados por expertos en relación con dos estrategiasinternas que favorecen la competitividad de una empresa: la gestión por competencias y el ejercicio del coaching empresarial.
