Recent studies have found a significant incidence of depression in this population compared to  others, but this reality has been insufficiently addressed by state agencies (2). In the context of a pandemic, a greater emotional impact on health workers is predictable due to the stress of this unprecedented situation. Once this thesis is verified, the need to address the underlying risks that health personnel have regarding the development of various mental health problems associated with anxiety, depression or suicide is raised by means of efficient preventive measures that stipulate protocols aimed at improving the work environment (2).Universidad de Caldas2021-01-01T00:00:00Z2021-01-01T00:00:00Z2020-01-01Artículo de revistahttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_545bTextinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleJournal articlehttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTCAEinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1application/pdf0121-757710.17151/hpsal.2021.26.1.32462-8425https://doi.org/10.17151/hpsal.2021.26.1.3https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/hacialapromociondelasalud/article/view/4315eng1911726Hacia la Promoción de la SaludPereda-Torales L, Celedonio FGM, Vásquez MTH, Zamora MIY.
