Three hundred 38 weeks old Hy Line W36® hens were used for the experiment, distributed in an experimental design unreservedly at random with five treatments, five repetitions and 12 hens for experimental unit. The birds were fed with a basic diet including corn, sorghum, and soybean cake, with 2,800 kilocalories of EM/kg, and five levels of PB (14, 15, 16, 17 and 18%). Meaningful statistic differences were not observed (P>0,05) in egg production, egg mass, food consumption, nutritional conversion and birds corporal weight increase of the birds that underwent the different treatments. As a consequence, the productive performance of the birds is not related with the level of raw protein only if the adequate levels of energy and limiting amino acids are guaranteed.Universidad de Caldas2022-03-17T01:13:48Z2025-10-08T21:58:24Z2022-03-17T01:13:48Z2025-10-08T21:58:24Z2022-03-17Artículo de revistahttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_2df8fbb1Textinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleJournal articlehttp://purl.org/redcol/resource_type/ARTinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85application/pdfhttps://repositorio.ucaldas.edu.co/handle/ucaldas/255802011-5415https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/vetzootec/article/view/5612https://revistasojs.ucaldas.edu.co/index.php/vetzootec/article/view/5612spa351284Revista Veterinaria y Zootecnia (On Line)Díaz-López, E.A.; Narváez-Solarte, W.; LópezGonzález, J.F.
