Dicha revisión, que trataré de esbozar, es un objetivo prioritario en la tradición pragmatista.Through a Rortyan reading of Peirce and Dewey, this article presents the pragmatist attempt to reconcile relativism, fallibilism, and objectivity. Dewey called the theory that makes them compatible: theory of truth as correspondence in an operational sense. Certainly, the transition from a correspondence theory in a representational sense, to a correspondence theory in an operational sense, requires a thorough review of the ontological and epistemological assumptions inherited from modernity.
