Por tanto, el género Geastrum queda representado en Colombia por cinco especies: G. mirabile; G. rufescens; G. saccatum; G. subiculosum y G. triplex.Geastrum triplex for the Colombian microbiota is recorded for the first time from basidiomata collected in the village of Santa Helena, municipality of Gachalá, Department of Cundinamarca. Information on distribution, ecology and growth substrate of the species is provided, described and illustrated.
