En él se sostienen las siguientes tesis: i) el sentimiento de respeto a la ley moral, en tanto sentimiento a priori, es una exigencia lógica de la argumentación, a fin de mantener la coherencia del sistema kantiano y hacer posible la libertad, ii) el sentimiento de respeto cumple tanto una función causal como una función diferenciadora, y iii) la moral kantiana afirma la existencia de dos sentimientos a priori: sentimiento de respeto a la ley moral y el sentimiento de dolor.This paper focuses exclusivily on the claim about the feeling of respect for the moral law, which Kant sets out in chapter three of The Analytic of Pure Practical Reason (Critique of Practical Reason).
