Background: In Peripheral Vascular Surgery, chronic venous disease has become a pathology with high demand in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures given its high prevalence and in the same sense the wide possibility of options within the medical / surgical panel. Sclerosing Therapy with Polidocanol is one of the most used therapeutic options, with significant symptomatic and clinical improvement with a direct impact on the improvement of the quality of life in health of patients. Methods and objective: A study was carried out with a quantitative, prospective, longitudinal, analytical cohort design, a health quality survey was applied sequentially in patients undergoing percutaneous Sclerosing therapy in Manizales city, period of time May and July 2025. Results: 128 patients were evaluated, with a mean age of 62 years. 82.8% were women, 17.2% men, 89% had a family history of severe venous disease. With a homogeneous presentation of symptoms at the time of diagnosis, at one week postoperative there was a 50% decrease in all symptoms (heaviness, palpitations, edema and pain). At one month postoperative, 70.3% of the evaluated patients had symptoms classified as mild venous disease and 29.7% were classified as moderate venous disease. At three months postoperative, 100% of the evaluated patients improved their condition to mild venous disease, and improvement in all symptoms could be observed throughout the follow-up time (p = < 0.001). Adherence to continuous elastocompression in severe disease reached 63.2% and intermittent in 15.8%. Conclusions: Percutaneous sclerosis with Polidocanol using the Tessari technique is a useful technique with good results over time, in improving the symptoms of chronic venous disease with a good effect on the quality of life of the patients evaluated.
