Description
Summary:This study examines the problems faced by an educational institution when it comes to programming its class schedule for school groups, based on that, a mathematical model of whole programming is presented that contributes to the optimal allocation of classes, taking into account the different restrictions and variables that are related to the problem. Our work focuses on the creation of a mathematical model where the priority is to maximize the number of blocks, that is, to dedicate two consecutive hours to the same subject in order to increase student learning, increase the productivity of teachers and reduce downtime, is there, in these key points where our model differs from the rest. The development and validation of the mathematical model is based on the real resources presented by the educational institution, in addition to that, by means of a computational tool the feasibility of the same is validated, obtaining as a result the optimization of the class schedules and the human talent
