Summary: | Organizations today take control measures about inventories of raw materials warehouses, spare parts stores, finished goods among others, with the objective of minimizing the number of units. the costs and above all to have availability of the required products, which are oriented to reach a specific objective within the production process, consequently with the previous thing, an investigation was made in the warehouse of the agricultural workshop of Ingenio la Cabaña sa, which consists of the identification and classification of the coded references of the spare parts of the heavy transport vehicles of the harvesting process, using an ABC classification system based on the criticality concept of the spare part in the process, this classification was based on the information given by the material module of the SAP system that has the cabin ingenuity. There were different tools and mechanisms to develop the analysis of the behavior of demand and inventories, among these methods that were applied: the Ishikawa diagram, the analysis of the demand by means of the forecast model, the control system (s, Q), establish the most precise reorder point or order, to cover the demand, in order to comply with the objectives established in this thesis. At the end of this research, an inventory management and control model is presented that allows the warehouse of the mill's agricultural workshop to assess the performance of the inventory through compliance with the requirements of the most important customer demand regarding the availability of spare parts and management indicators for decision making in the short, medium and long term. |
