Summary:his document is the result of an investigation that took place in the neighbourhood Potrero Grande in the district of Aguablanca. The investigation involved 11 participants from Somos Pacifico Corporation (Cali, valle del cauca) which ages were between 10 and 20 years old and whose participation was framed in the modality of community internship in order to obtain the professional title of Film and digital communication. The methodology applied was "participatory photography", through a workshop, where beyond teaching photographic techniques, tools were provided to encourage the expression of participants, and to strengthen their capacity of critical awareness about their environment and their personal life from observation and reflection through the photographs taken by Tthemselves. The workshop concluded with the exhibition of the photographs taken by each participant in their neighborhood and La Universidad Autonoma de Occidente as a way of awareness of their reality through their visual products
