Summary:The world economy is going through a new phase that is characterized by digitalization. Technologies such as the internet of things, cloud computing, big data among many more, reinforce the manufacturing industry from the manufacture of customized products. Data analysis and real time decision making contribute positively to the efficiency of the entire value chain. This project presents the development of a system for the modernization of the technological infrastructure in the logistics laboratory of the Autónoma de Occidente University, considering for this development, the concept of industry 4.0. The developed system works specifically on the operations executed in a Cross-Docking platform, dispatch to the client, managing the respective inventories both with the use of bar codes and through the use of Radio Identification Frequency. From this, a pertinent study is made to know the requirements of the play, to adopt its criteria, to know its distribution and in this way to find. For its development, factors such as the technologies that are part of Industry 4.0 were considered, due to this, a comparative study was carried out between existing technologies that adapt to the proposed project, on the other hand, an analysis of the operation was made of the hardware to later be able to choose the most suitable one, system visualization and data transfer. In the design of the platform, the network topology was determined, which is wireless, for this the parameters of the practice, the direction of the data, its speed and also its security for sending information by means were considered of serial communication with the USB port. For the display part, a cell phone application was made which allows random orders to be made as the user likes. In addition, new visualization systems are developed for each practice platform that allow data analysis. Finally, the results were optimal, fulfilling the general objective, given that, when the practice was set up in real time, the transmission of the data was obtained satisfactorily and a detailed compilation of the entire process was made. For this project, low-cost equipment was used since there were no necessary resources, in case the University wishes to implement this system, the options of possible equipment that could be used with their respective cost were presented
