Estudio de impacto ambiental para el almacenamiento de sustancias peligrosas en la empresa Agroproductiva S.A

Hazardous substances represent a high risk to the environment and to the health of all people, the objective of this graduate work is to prevent and correct in its greatest magnitude this risk, associated with environmental and social impacts; For this purpose, an environmental impact study (EsIA) is planned for the storage of hazardous substances, in accordance with the requirements of the current applicable legal regulations, in the company AGROPRODUCTIVA S.A. The design of the environmental impact study (EsIA) has three main stages, in which the entire environmental impact study is generally considered; These three stages are: environmental diagnosis, evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts, and finally, the environmental management plan. In the environmental diagnosis, general characteristics of the farm where AGROPRODUCTIVA S.A is located, particulars of the storage of pesticides, and the biotic and abiotic components of the Acopi - Yumbo sector were described. Subsequently, based on the information from this first stage, the main activities that break down the storage of hazardous substances in AGROPRODUCTIVA S.A were identified; which are, the maintenance of the roads, the collection of hazardous waste (RESPEL) and the external transport of agrochemical products (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, fertilizers and biological) through municipal and regional roads. Then, these activities were associated with environmental impacts, prioritizing environmental impacts over others, with qualitative methods such as Leopold's matrix, which is evidenced in this second stage that the environmental impacts with greater relevance in the storage of hazardous substances in AGROPRODUCTIVA SA, they are the affectation of the landscape, the auditory contamination and the atmospheric contamination. Finally, based on the first two stages of the environmental impact study (EsIA), the environmental management plan (WFP) was designed; that would allow mitigate, prevent and / or correct all these priority environmental and social impacts; Within this EMP, the environmental management programs, the monitoring and control plan, the environmental contingency plan and the closure and abandonment plan will be included
