Description
Summary:The project "Design of a participatory communication strategy appropriate to the context of the school Liceo de la Amistad for the process of collecting used cooking oil”, proposes and develops a participatory design of an educommunicative strategy around the recycling of used cooking oil, taking as pilot context the school Liceo La Amistad located in the Terrón Colorado neighborhood, in Cali. For the strategy design, the research based on a qualitative approach, anchored to participative action, which allows the development of an investigation from and with the eyes of the community itself. In this way, it seeks to achieve, during its implementation stage, an impact on the knowledge appropriation and application by the different actors of the community. For this, a diagnosis and analysis of the community was carried out, plus a review of literature, cases and successful experiences that contributed ideas for the development of a recycling strategy around used cooking oil. With this, a participative educommunicative strategy proposal was built for the school Liceo La Amistad; it was called Ecomente. It divided into three phases: knowing, thinking and acting, and sought as an objective, achieve influence on the sociocultural practices of the community, increase knowledge regarding pollution by ACU and therefore, also increase the actions for its proper collection and reuse.
