Summary:ncreasingly, women are targets of violence in various contexts: the family, the community, the street, the State, the armed conflict, among many other situations, which over time instead of being healed lessons and overcome, the opposite occurs, as the figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) point out when they denounce that around one in three women in the world have suffered physical and sexual partner violence or violence by third parties at some point in time. his life. Regarding this fact so unfortunate a lot are alien and indifferent, however, there are also brave people who are willing to confront the injustices and fight the rights, such as the caleña Foundation "Women, Art and Life" (MAVI) an organization that with its permanent work and commitment to vulnerable women have achieved for more than 20 years to be an example of collective, which has promoted and promoted social campaigns that have become agents of change and have driven women to exercise their rights. Their campaigns are not only carried out in Valle del Cauca, but throughout Colombia and for long periods of time that help to have a more in-depth impact and help more women to get well into the subject. To achieve the above, different investigations were carried out and the qualitative method was implemented as interviews and life histories were elaborated, which led to demonstrating the degree of problem that is still evident, and how the Mavi Foundation provides options for change, since that the victims managed to find help and solution to their problem through talks, videos, meetings and advertising campaigns. In such a way this investigation was carried out from communication, and you're looking to leave a very significant message to future professionals in the area to be attentive to the needs and the issues surrounding it, inviting them to be more thoughtful, engaging with society to help those who need it most from the organizations where they are working
