Description
Summary:A random number generator is something precious, subtle, and delicate that it is worth to treat it carefully to avoid losing its properties. In many situations a pseudorandom number generator with uniform probability distribution is available and it is desired to adapt it for generating another kind of distributions. In this article the most common errors made trying to achieve this goal, as well as a method to avoid making these mistakes are presented using a pair of simple examples.
