Description
Summary:The objective of this study was to identify relationships of musical unity through the application of macro-formal analysis 3 in op. 25 by A. Ginastera. To do this, seven factors of musical analysis were classified and applied, which helped to identify significant relationships of musical unity between the parts or movements of the work. The project arose from the need to contribute to the apparent bibliographical shortage of macro analysis methodologies, in order to enable an analytical approach to the relationships that may occur between the movements of a specific work. It is expected with this work to provide a complementary look at the already traditional micro and meso dimensions of the practice of musical analysis.
