Therefore, this research aims to estimate the risk of academic corruption among Public Accounting students in Medellín, given that this profession is sensitive to the issue and carries significant social responsibility in our current context.En el programa Antioquia Legal (una encuesta en la región de Antioquia, Colombia), la corrupción académica se destacó como un factor de preocupación en las instituciones de educación superior. A nivel regional se promovieron campañas para reducir este tipo de corrupción entre los estudiantes, pero la situación prevalece. Aunque se han realizado investigaciones previas sobre este tema, no se evidencian estudios que estimen el riesgo de corrupción académica, ni proporcionen una estrategia de gestión de riesgos que busque controlar este problema en la universidad.
