For this purpose, the emotional content associated with intervals, chords, scales, tempo, rhythmic figures, etc. was analyzed. Then, a system of equations was constructed by means of the concept of probability, thus replicating the physiology of emotion, whereby the notion of external stimulus was used. This stimulus was assigned to the musical parameters, whereas the internal stimuli were introduced in order to include the subjectivity of each individual by its corresponding emotional response. In that way, each emotion was given a probability value that is divided into "yes, it is felt" and "no, it is not felt". Finally, a mathematical mechanism was devised to determine the probability distribution in response to one’s emotional perception while listening to a song.El presente artículo busca proponer un modelo matemático para calcular los valores de los posibles estados afectivos que una canción provocaría en respuesta a una persona. Para ello, se analizó el contenido emocional asociado a los intervalos, acordes, escalas, tempo, figuras rítmicas, etc. Después, se construyó un sistema de ecuaciones mediante el concepto de probabilidad replicando la fisiología emocional, para la cual se empleó la noción de estímulo externo. Este se asignó a los parámetros musicales, mientras que, los estímulos internos, fueron propuestos para considerar la subjetividad de cada individuo correspondiente a su respuesta emocional. De esa manera, se otorgó a cada emoción un valor de probabilidad que se divide en “sí se siente” y “no se siente”.
