| Summary: | Management has traditionally been influenced by Economics, Engineering, and Law discourses; Social Sciences have recently contributed also, even though this does not mean Management is part of them. This article intends to deal with a current socio-anthropological aspect: the use of “corporality” in organizations, and the theoretical and practical distinctions derived. The text proposes that the body conceived as territory be thought from different perspectives, observing consequences such as the relations in productivity, and health problems. A conclusion may be drawn, regarding how the aforementioned phenomenon is fundamental nowadays for understanding modern organizations. |
