The strategy should not be understood as independent in the formulation and implementation processes, given that the five pillars should be analyzed as a unit taking into account the strategy rising results that emerge from the pillars’ interdependence. This framework is known as PENTA and provides high conceptual potential to understand and transform the organization in a given moment.Un sistema socio-técnico complejo está constituido por cinco componentes que interactúan entre sí: estrategia, cultura, recursos, gestión y mercados. La estrategia no puede ni debe ser entendida de manera independiente en ninguna de sus fases de formulación y de implementación, ya que este conjunto de cinco pilares debe ser analizado como una totalidad, pues los resultados de la estrategia son emergentes del vínculo entre todos ellos y no de ella misma en forma aislada.
