Description
Summary:This article seeks to account for the changes –expressive, thematic and enunciative– that Colombian poetry has experienced in relation to the phenomena of violence, from the mid-twentieth century to the present. The text begins with an account of certain displacements of poetic practice in different contexts around the world, in order to inscribe Colombian expressions in said transits. Subsequently, based on some historiographical efforts to periodize violence in Colombia, some of the most pronounced differences between the poetic expressions of the so-called period of Violence and the one that has addressed the violence related to the armed conflict are described, in order to establish the ways and the implications of what could be understood as a turn towards silence.
