Viajes de un colombiano en Europa : primera serie : Nueva Granada - El océano - Inglaterra - Francia - España / por José M. Samper

La narracion de mis viajes comprenderá cuatro series, contenidas en cuatro volúmenes. La primera, que publico ahora, se refiere á la region del rio Magdalena, en los Estados Unidos de Colombia (ántes "Nueva-Grana"), mi punto de partida, -á la travesía del Atlántico, una parte de Inglaterra, muchos departamentos de Francia, y sobre todo España. La segunda, que va á entrar en prensa, comprenderá la descripcion de Suiza, la Alemania del Rín, Bélgica y varios departamentos de Francia. La tercera abrazará las narraciones relativas á otra parte de Francia (la del Nordeste), á Wurtemberg, Baviera, Austria, Hungría, Bohemia, Sajonia, Prusia, Hamburgo, Hanover, Hese-Casel y Holanda. La cuarta comprenderá la Gran Bretaña, Italia, y un estudio social comparativo de Paris y Lóndres y de la civilización europea. Cada volúmen irá provisto, como el presente, de un sencillo mapa indicativo de los itinerarios. No debe olvidarse que el texto de este volúmen ha sido escrito y publicado en 1859-60, y que por tanto es á esa época que se refiere todas las observaciones estadísticas, y otras de carácter mas ó ménos transitorio
