This article analyzes the case of South Korea as the best country in academic performance worldwide, and the possible applications of its system in Colombia.Una de las mayores preocupaciones en Colombia, a nivel social es la deficiente calidad de su modelo educativo y las altas tasas de deserción escolar, lo cual le ha llevado a ocupar uno de los puestos más bajos a nivel mundial en lo concerniente a la educación. Por lo tanto, si Colombia quiere apostarle a una mayor competitividad académica, deberá tomar como ejemplo las enseñanzas de los líderes mundiales en el tema.
