description	Understanding people’s behavior means going to the bottom of their inner roots. Beyond rationality and intellect-related issues, this demands looking for the most profound reasons of acting, behaving and communicating. In order to achieve this, the paper sets a work frame comprised by four elements represented by a Rhombus. Practices, methods, values and principles are the rhombus elements. The author shows how to use the rhombus to build the inner structure of an action or behavior. Later on. her research revealed a second structure to analyze the phenomenon, the so-called ‘administrative trilogy’. This deals with three basic functions that every individual and society has to take into account to survive and develop. More than a tangible situation in organizations, the trilogy only shows up by a deeper look at the division of work and procedures. Its three basic domains are: Production and innovation; security and protection; government and general interest.

Esto exige prestar atención no sólo a las acciones concretas de la persona, a sus actitudes y a sus palabras, sino buscar sobre qué están profundamente apoyadas esas maneras de actuar, de comportarse y de hablar, más allá de las explicaciones racionales y lógicas que la persona pueda dar. Para lograr esto, he propuesto ya un marco de análisis que comporta cuatro partes estrechamente ligadas entre sí y que presento bajo la forma de un rombo. Luego de haber presentado cada uno de los cuatro elementos de base – las prácticas, los métodos, los valores y los principios generales – mostré cómo se podía utilizar el rombo para reconstituirla estructura íntima de una actividad concreta o de una conducta. A medida que progresaba mi investigación sobre un marco de análisis que me permitiera comprender y decodificar las experiencias o los hechos concretos vividos en el marco de mi trabajo administrativo, una segunda estructura comenzó a revelarse progresivamente como un telón de fondo, a la cual le llamé trilogía administrativa. Globalmente, se trata de tres grandes funciones de base que toda persona y toda sociedad deben realizar para sobrevivir y desarrollarse. Este segundo esquema y el rombo son los marcos de análisis de base que utilicé para observar, organizar e interpretar los hechos y gestos de las personas y los fenómenos organizacionales. La trilogía se encuentra raramente como tal en las organizaciones, pero se la presenta detrás de la manera de dividir el trabajo y de desglosar las actividades.
