description El proyecto empieza con la recopilación de información acerca del mantenimiento en los hoteles más representativos de Colombia, con el correcto despliegue de los objetivos esta información es procesada a fin de definir un modelo preciso y característico del mantenimiento en instalaciones hoteleras, basándose en el conocimiento teórico acerca del mantenimiento del sector hotelero, con el concepto global de éste como un sector bien definido, como el industrial o el de transportes, pero cuyo perfil se vincula con una actividad múltiple bajo el rubro socioeconómico cultural y de recreación (Cavassa, 2007).
