Similarly, critically review some of the foundational paradigms common to almost all schools of the so-called Western cult music, such as its historical anti-logocentric position, the preeminence of the auctoris attempt over other intentions in interpretation, the canon of classical music, the plurality of written text and the final interpreter as a habit of behavior, among others; with some digressions to the concepts of derridana différance and the Aristotelian distinction between poetry and praxis.En el presente artículo el autor reflexiona, a la luz de la semiótica peirceana, en torno a la diversidad que se da en la interpretación musical a partir de la partitura, en las diferentes líneas de énfasis que alberga el Departamento de Música de la Universidad EAFIT.
