Based on the Ashworth clinical assessment, the solution here presented evaluates the dynamic response of the stretch reflex when the elbow joint is involuntary extended or stretched. The result of this test represents the angle at which the hyperactive reflex is produced.La importancia de medir un nivel exacto de espasticidad -cuantificar- recae en la necesidad de evaluar fácilmente la severidad de la condición cuando se valoren los progresos de terapias de rehabilitación o medicinas sin comprometer las medidas con resultados subjetivos. Basada en el test de Ashworth, la solución presentada evalúa la respuesta dinámica del reflejo por extensión cuando la articulación del codo es movida involuntariamente.
