Repositorio Institucional Universidad EIA. https://repository.eia.edu.co/handle/11190/352290 páginasRESUMEN: La Fundación Exito es una fundación de segundo nivel, lo que significa que no ejecuta directamente proyectos, sino que cofinancia organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro y organismos públicos que atienden directamente la nutrición de niños en su primera infancia y madres gestantes y lactantes. Las instituciones sin ánimo de lucro cofinanciadas deben demostrar conocimientos técnicos, tener experiencias significativas, capacidad de administración y capacidad para cumplir con la realización de proyectos de nutrición. La Fundación Exito definió su focalización en la nutrición para la primera infancia porque encontró que desde la economía, la salud y las ciencias sociales que es una inversión de rápido retorno que posibilita el desarrollo del potencial humano de cada individuo. Y con el fin de medir ese retorno y hacer un seguimiento pormenorizado del logro de los objetivos en cada proyecto definió en 2007 el TABLERO DE GESTION, un instrumento con 13 indicadores llamado que da cuenta las características de la institución, la de la población atendida, la atención alimentaria con respecto al aporte energético y nutricional y en tipos de alimentos consumidos (desayuno, refrigerios, almuerzo y comida), hábitos nutricionales, salud, educación en el entorno familiar, condición nutricional y desarrollo de cada niño. Lo primero que se realizó fue una presentación del Tablero de Gestión, la importancia y relevancia de la información para el seguimiento a cada uno de los niños, a los logros de cada institución y la oportunidad de tener parámetros de comparación entre las instituciones que trabajan en alianza con la Fundación Exito en cada una de las regiones y a nivel nacional. Teniendo esta información clara y comprendida, los autores de esta tesis procedieron a realizar un análisis del diligenciamiento del Tablero en 25 instituciones seleccionadas que fueron visitadas para verificar que los indicadores fueran entendidos y que la información suministrada estuviera tomada de manera adecuada. También se evaluó en cada una de las visitas el cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos para cada proyecto. Después realizar la verificación y el análisis de los datos obtenidos en las visitas, se identificó donde están los problemas y luego se proponen correctivos .. Se concluye entonces que el reporte de los trece indicadores de gestión señalados en el Tablero por parte de las 25 instituciones tomadas para esta estudio en el Valle de Aburrá cumplen con el diligenciamiento, sin embargo hay falencias en la toma de datos que deben superarse con programas de capacitación. Por lo tanto la Fundación tiene que seguir realizando su proyecto de sensibilización y capacitación con las diferentes instituciones, para lo que los autores de este estudio proponen unas herramientas de mejoramiento.ABSTRACT: The Exito foundation is a second level foundation, which means that it does not execute directly the financed projects but it does disbursements to non-profit-making institutions that demonstrate a good technical knowledge, have significant experiences, have the capability to manage themselves and that also can reach the accomplishment of nutrition projects, since the Foundation is sure that the efforts to build a better world must be aligned by the Millennium Development Objectives (MDO), stated by the General Assembly of United Nations in the 2000. When the Foundation first looked up to these eight objectives, the basic role of nutrition was identified, and is due to this matter that its projects are focused on nutrition through the education of the childhood in their first infancy, from zero to five years. In order to have control on the projects in the different institutions, the MANAGEMENT BOARD was created, there are diverse aspects that could be observed in this board, such as characteristics of the institution, attended population, food surveillance with regard to the energetic and nutritional contribution and the sort of food (breakfast, coffee-break, lunch and dinner), nutritional habits, health, education in the family environment, nutritional condition and development. As first matter, all tools are given to understand the importance and relevancy of the information groups that could be extracted from the management board and with these tools make the correct verification and analysis of the information given by the institutions can be done. Having understood this in a clearly way, the information filled in the board’s form was analyzed to ensure that the indicators were well understood and the given information was taken in a suitable way. Also, in each one of the visits, the achievement of the goals proposed by each project was evaluated. After having done this checking and this analysis of the information obtained during the visits, the problematic areas were identified and better ways of approaching the intervention from the Exito Foundation and the institutions are proposed to improve the impact in children and in the community of El Valle de Aburrá thus a stricter control could be done. In conclusion, the institutions at El Valle de Aburrá are qualified as good in general terms and, at the moment, they are offering a suitable attention, the failings that could be presented are mainly caused by weaknesses in the training process.
